Spring is sure popping out all over. Lots of buds swelling. This is one of two Georgia Petite Indian hawthornes along the front porch. It won't be long before they're covered in blooming clusters of small pink flowers.

The oak leaf holly at the corner of the house is starting to bloom. It's a male and will be pollinating other hollies in the area. Once all those tiny flowers open they'll be visited by lots of honeybees.

I've let a few Packman broccoli plants bloom for seed collection. It's a hybrid but I just want to see what those seeds would produce. That same experiment with the hybrid daikon radish sure made one ugly daikon! But again, the honeybees and a few bumbles are enjoying a taste of early spring.

There is so much pollen being released here you can see waves of it in the air.

The wisteria in the area is now blooming so we have the last of the yellow Carolina jasmine and the purple Wisteria hanging together. beautiful!
