Thornless Brambleberries

Have recently acquired two pots of thornless Raspberries, one tagged Serpells Williamette, a new release here, and the other one untagged and vendor unable to remember variety name. It is possible that I have two pots of the same variety. The unnamed variety is supposed to be about 130 - 140 years old that someone has recovered and is promoting.

Also picked up a thornless Loganberry, no further information on it.

Wondering if anyone has any information on any thornless brambles that they are willing to share

Thank you for the link @MissS , I actually use a similar system myself for what brambles that I currently grow. I am more interested in the history of any thornless brambles if the information is available, something I didn't make clear enough, my bad. Google does not bring up any history and they predate anything I have in writing.

This catalogue from 1885 would be the right age https://archive.org/details/purdysdesc ... 0/mode/1up
It lists “Turner or Southern Thornless” as a thornless variety
