The other day there was a controlled burn going on in the woods across the road. This is what it looked like around here the next morning. The plan to hang out laundry was cancelled!


Yesterday Pickles found the first asparagus of the season and it was a small but tasty addition to dinner. They weren't in one of the beds but coming up next to the post where the garden hose is hung. Haven't seen any yet where they're supposed to be.

I cannot wait for things to get growing.. started the Mano today.thank you again!!
