A week ago I was transplanting my toms and... My dog passed running and knocked down a cup, making my seedling stem partially broke.. here's the picture now

It has some browning on some leaves, but everything else seems fine..

My question is, should bury all that repaired stem when transplanting? Should I make a cutting and root the healthy part? Or should I transplant but leaving the repaired part out of the soil? Thanks in advance!

Burying it sounds like a good idea to me.

i would bury it too. more root growth along the stem plus insurance against the weakened stem
breaking if a strong breeze blows in.. the leaves look like sun scald. too much light too soon after
being in the house. the plant is also big enough to take a cutting if you choose to go that route.

I too think that burying it sideways rather than deep would be your best option and the least stressful to your plant.

I broke some seedlings last year when my lights fell on top of them.
The one similar to yours, with good leaves above the break, I splinted it until transplant time and then planted deeper than the break point.
It was my best plant from that group, in spite of the early accident.
So I agree with all the advice so far, go deep! Good luck.

Id wait until the wound has healed. Then bury it deep.

I have partially broken stems at planting, planted ensuring that break is covered and not had any problem with the plant, produced well.
