And what a GREAT MONTH in which to celebrate it, am I right...?

Owing to her decades of prowess, gleaned from an earlier-stage-of-development stint in F-n-B/Restaurant management, the lovely and long suffering Mrs. Gotch regularly supplies us with fresh salads, replete with yummy accoutrements like Garbanzo Beans, sliced Mushrooms-n-Peppers, and hard boiled eggs.

Resers is our Go-To for prepared salads (try the Deviled Egg! https://www.resers.com/product/deviled- ... JTEALw_wcB), which we trick out with sundry fresh ingredients.

Happy Saint Walburga's Day! First of May is called vappu in Finnish and it is a big celebration here and an official holiday.

We had sunny and relatively warm day (15°C), so I spent it moving plants to greenhouse and potting some annual flower seedlings to bigger containers.
Weather was so nice that we had coffee break on the veranda with homemade doughnuts and traditional vappusima, which is low alcoholic mead made with lemon juice and brown sugar.

I love May day and always celebrate in my heart at least if I can't take the holiday.
Spring is really on the way.
