Has anyone grown or tasted Dattarino tomatoes? I just read an article where they're used in pizza at a pizza restaurant on the East coast. From what I've read so far online, dattarino tomatoes are sweet & tiny & come in mainly red or yellow but there are other colors. Is dattarino a general term for a type of cherry tomato? Are there OP versions, and where can one buy seeds? None of the sellers online so far are familiar to me, & I don't want to order from Etsy as much as possible. Thanks for any feedback

@MissS that article was very informative thank you! I wonder if dattarinos are parents of other sweet grapes like Blush? Since it doesn't look like I'll be able to taste the real deal anytime soon, I'll just imagine that they're similar. Except I have never had a solid red grape tomato that's very sweet, only striped ones. I can look into that too.

Casey's Heirlooms sells a "Daterino" that I grow, which is a vigorous determinate that is reliable and prolific and makes grape shaped and fairly meaty fruits, with decent flavour. On my must grow list now.
