Hi from BC, Canada

Hi, friends
I live in northern BC, Canada and enjoy growing heirloom and open-pollinated varieties. We don't have a greenhouse; everything is grown in our little garden. The season is short (90-100 growing days, fewer if a killer frost hits in late August or early September) but the long hours of sunlight seem to balance things out.
My list of "favourite things to grow" seems to get larger each year, but I especially enjoy growing winter squash, dry beans, tomatoes, and garlic.
I love to see pictures of the different varieties other folks grow and reading about how they did in different regions.
Looking forward to frequenting the forum and getting to know you!
