From the beginning I wanted to participate in the seeds swap, especially peppers, but at that time the post service was in strike. I also questioned myself about the quality of my seeds and how to send better the envelope and the pre-posted envelope. I could use some advice here. Concerning the pepper seeds, I started to germinate those gathered from the year 2024. Some of them germinated in 3 days (!) other gradually in 5-10, other not at all. Do you test your seeds before sending ? I think I know how to gather seeds, but how do you test briefly and remove from the start the ones that are bad ? I had two varieties that I gathered seeds from late ripen peppers, they looked nice but none of them germinated !
Rarely but true, I even had trouble germinating some commercial seeds. In one of such experiences I found out about Zupska Rana or (Zupa) pepper. These seeds are no more available to buy (out of stock). I know that most of you already germinated your seeds. It is late, but not too late for peppers. I wonder, does someone still have Zupska Rana seed in stock ? I will be happy to get some and also to share what I have and I know it worked this year. Thank you !
