I have no idea who I am, here.

Earlier today, I finally got back to using my original username and registration, as "Tormato" (I think). The emergency backup username and registration will only be used to retrieve PMs sent there (I think).

But, I've now been informed that I've had my names changed by the mods. Tormato is now Tormahto 1 (I think). And Tormahto is now Tormato (I think).

I don't know which one of me is posting this. At least I got the H out of Hello!

I think I'll now go PM myself, if it's still possible. I'm not going to attempt to PM my other self, or we all may get the PM.

@Tormato is your main account. It is your newer account with none of the baggage.

Your old account now has a username of @Tormahto1 in case you would like to use that one for something again.

You say Tormato, I say Tomahto and someone else says Tomahto1. It really doesn't matter if you answer to them all...

I'm gonna change Tormahto1 to Tormahto just for confusions sake.

Not trying for upsmanship or hijacking but had a similar thing happen. A couple of years ago looking around at gardening sites one caught my eye as a place that matched my interests. During the sign-in phase trying to register the username I have at several sites, it had already been registered. The nerve of the guy who copied my often used name by me at four or five other places for the past twenty years! So to make a point I registered as "the realpaulf". I looked up the history of this imposter and discovered it was actually me who had registered at this place maybe four years earlier and didn't remember doing it.

So now I am also doubled up on that site but since the password is lost to history only one name is used.
