Is it still true that SunGold is the best cherry tomato? I tried many other cherries and still can not find the same complex and full flavor of SunGold in any other tomato.

Basically Tormato is answering “Yes” to the first question, that Sungold is the best tasting cherry tomato.
I remember MissTee giving quite a list ranking cherry tomatoes here:
viewtopic.php?t=4581#p100601
Excellent, will grow again:
Ambrosia Gold
Amy’s Apricot
Candy Sweet Icicle
Chocolate Pear
Iva’s Red Berry
Rosella
Tel Aviv Train
Sunshine Yellow
Sweet Aperitif
Good - May grow again if I run out of new options:
Brad’s Atomic Grape
Ditmarsher
Green Doctors
Medovaya Kaplya
Rebel Alliance
Snow White
Santium Sunrise
Sun Gold
Sunrise Bumblebee

To me cherry is more about concentration. Complexity is another matter, with involves more subtle flavor other than sweetness, as well as interplay of textures and juices. This is why I grow beefsteaks.
Sungold is good because it is produces very consistent sweet fruits. There are a few variety that are claimed sweeter than Sungold, but Sungold tend to be more reliable and productive.

Sungold F1 has a unique unusual sweet citrus note that no other cherry has. People may rave that SunSugar F1 is sweeter, but to me simple sweetness is boring unless has some kind of flavor kick to distinguish it. You can't mistake a Sungold for any other cherry. Sungold stands alone!

Agreed, SunGold stands alone.
In my garden, SunSugar can be sweeter, and most of the time it is. Far less consistent in flavor, it sometimes is less sweet. But, SunSugar is always weaker in flavor. I've trialed perhaps all of the "SunGold OP" types in the past 20 years. Almost all were fairly lousy, as they didn't taste anything like SunGold.
The only two that stood out were...
Ambrosia Gold - close to the sweetness of SunGold, but lacking in the strength of flavor,
and
California Sungold - close to the strength of flavor of SunGold, but lacking in sweetness.

Hmm. I forgot about that one.
I see that I now have exactly one pack in the MMMM inventory. In the future counting the number of seeds in the pack, I may abscond with one seed that accidentally falls out of that pack. But first, I must check to see if any participants add it to their wish lists.
Like all things non-SunGold, I do not go in expecting anything more than disappointment.

How about Green Doctors? I’ve never tried them but have read many reviews, some claiming it is better than sungold.

Competely different flavor profile, than SunGold F1. I've only grown Green Doctors Frosted a couple of times. It was very good for a green cherry, nice taste, maybe somewhat reminiscent of a mild honeydew melon as opposed to the citrus tang of SunGold. I would grow it again to use in a mix of cherry colors. If I had to pick only one, I would still stick with SunGold.

Since SunGold is so good, what are the reason you grow other cherries?

Can't save seeds with SunGold. One year, many years ago, there was a problem with SunGold, where they were not the correct seeds.

Growing other cherries is my futile replacement back-up plan, in case I run out of true SunGold seeds, and the wrong seed happens again.
I think that if I pop one Ambrosia Gold and one California Sungold in my mouth at the same time, I might come closest to the SunGold taste.

It’s not even close.
