Hi, from South Mississippi!

Hello! My name is Hope. I joined this forum last year. I’m still trying to figure out how it works in here. I am wondering if this is a good place to work out trades for seeds. I have many interesting varieties of tomatoes to share, and I’m looking for a few things. I don’t know if this would be something I could be talked through in messages or by comments, but if anyone wants to take that on, I’d appreciate it greatly.
I look forward to participating more in this group.
Thank you!
Hope

Howdy from Texas. Lots of seeds get traded around here. If there’s an obscure tomato desired or in your possession or something along those lines, this forum is a good place to get up a discussion about a trade.
There’s been a MMMM trade going on annually since the inception of the forum. There’s a whole sub forum section for that. @Tormato runs the MMMM swap show.
There are other open to the forum member swaps and then private swaps.
Good luck.

Hello and welcome
@iva*hi*hope. The seeds fly around this forum all of the time. We have the Trading Post on the board that's just up your alley. It's for trading seeds. Then we host Tormato's MMMM (Mostly Mystery Mater Mailing) which is one of the biggest seed swaps ever. Save some seeds and come back and join it around September.

Hi friend! You might look inside the MMMM forum for the “everything but the kitchen sink“ topic. It is set to arrive to me today

. But I think people can still be added to the end of the list. Might help you find some things you are looking for.

And a big hello from the great state of Jawja! Don't worry; you'll get the hang of runnin' around in here pretty quick. And if you get lost just holler. Someone will snatch you out of the wilderness and set you back on track.

Link is a vegetable planting guide for Mississippi.
The calendar is odd, though, as it shows the last average frost date for Biloxi as March 1-12, but doesn’t have tomatoes getting transplanted until March 29th. I’m sorry, but that just dumb.

I just ran across your MMMM package, which I will be filling today. Participants who joined and sent packages back in Oct/Nov, are but a distant memory, until I am reminded.
I'd hold off on trading seeds for a week or so. (ask others why)
And, if you have a posted wish list in the corresponding MMMM wish list thread, you can edit it (if needed, others can help you by showing you how), up until I post the day it departs (arrivals and departures thread). If you don't have one, you can start one, which I will be looking for, next week.
