Hello from Philadelphia Suburbs

Greetings,
Happy to join this group. I’m in the western suburbs of Philadephia, aka the Main Line. Been growing tomatoes as a hobby in my home garden for about 40 years. It started with two hybrid plants, and grew last year to 73 tomato plants, 24 pepper varieties, 16 different eggplants, several dozen cucumber plants planted in succession, herbs and flowers. There is always something new to discover. Glad I found this site.

You've got great soil there. Began my love of gardening when folks from work brought me homegrown tomatoes from their farm in Yardley. Got myself out from the apartment and into a place with a backyard pronto. Now its my turn to chase down people with great tomatoes. Never looked back, but garden was never as good as Jersey Fresh and Philly area.
