Here's what I'm growing! Colour key for variety names: blue = growing for myself, pink = in my friend's greenhouse, no colour = going or gone to other friends/family/neighbours, grey = failed to germinate so far.

Well, just as I thought I was finished with sowing and potting up, the Damping Off Fairy tore through my final batch of seedlings. Several were promised to family and neighbours, so I've had to re-sow. Of course, I've ended up sowing three times more seeds than I lost seedlings, "just in case".

I really like Velvet Night dwarf. This will be the third year I've grown it since it came in the MMMM swap.

It's a lovely flavour and it does well outdoors here. Been a couple of years since I grew it, so I'm looking forward to trying it again.

Hmmm... My two Sweet as Linda seedlings survived the damping off incident and are putting out their first true leaves. Potato leaves. SaL is supposed to have regular leaves. Oh, well. Keeps it interesting, I s'pose. :D

Stuck the first eight plants outside on the South facing wall today. Bloody Butcher, Elf Tears, Copper Currant, Wow Cherry, 2x "Dwarf" Bloody Butcher, 2x Groovy Tunes Micro (-ish).

Tasted first Henry Harrington's. Hooray, Henry!

Lovely and sweet. I just checked the plant I gave to my friend in the next village and her LBT (pictured) are not ripe yet but much truer to type. Maybe LBT is unstable, but I've decided that my off-type is quite charming. 8-)
