Bulbs and tomatoes

I hope I don't sound too demanding, but I need to know this fairly quickly. Is it okay if I plant a tomato plant in a grow bag with soil that has grown spring bulbs in it?

TIA.

I don't see any reason why not. I have grown flowering bulbs in my vegetable gardens and I did not notice any ill effects and we grow beets, carrots and onions in gardens too. Those seem to be fine companions. Since the soil was used, I would add some additional fertilizer.

I plant onions amongst my tomatoes and other vegetables and it hasn't caused any issues (so far). I'd refresh the soil as Plain Jane and MissS suggested above.

I'm sure I have read that sometimes certain bulbs produce substances that are harmful to some other plants. But I can't remember which bulbs produced the offending substances and which plants were susceptible to them.

By the way, my grow bags are ready and filled with soil. The tomato plants go into the grow bags tomorrow. It's Hammer Time y'all.

I am not far behind you, I planted some snow peas today and plan to plant some tomatoes on Tuesday.
