Log In Problems

I reset the cookies to try to fix the "I keep getting logged out and the board doesn't keep me logged in" problems.
If you're having a problem, clear your browser history and delete the board cookies using the link in the footer.
Use an incognito browser will get you in if you think it's the forum itself to check, if you get in then it's your browser.
We shouldn't have any more problems after this.

You can always try to reboot the PC but the above suggestions should work.

Tried everything didn't work.
Going to fix a stiff drink and cook a steak on a hot grill.
This seems to always work.
Thanks for all you do.
I know it must be frustrating.

worth1 what browser are you using? I use Edge or Chrome and there are 3 dots in the upper right hand corner across from the address bar. Drop down that menu and choose the word History. It will open and then you can "clear browsing data" or something like that.
It worked for me on both browsers and now I can login again.

Sorry everyone, I did it again. Bad information trying to make it easier to get back in. I think it's working now but you still might need to make the changes above.

I just made an adjustment that should alert the browser to update it, hopefully that works instead of jumping through hoops and deleting history.

An old version of Firefox on an old laptop that is running vista from many years ago.
The phone is a galaxy s3 new at the time but way out dated for both.
The lap top is in two pieces with a remote keyboard connected and the old keyboard removed.
Open hole on top.
Spilled something on it and it went legs up.
I delete my browsing history and stuff all the time to keep the old girl running at tip top speed.
I call it the worlds fastest lap top.

Well this morning I posted that I was not having any problems about 15 minutes later I couldn't log in no way no how. I started to have withdrawn systems I tired to change my password I sent a E mail for help!! After I cleared the history on my laptop I was able to log on, but still not on my tablet or phone. I took a break and went out to work in the garden for a while, and now every thing is working!! Thanks Rob I don't know how much longer I could have survived. Mike

I'm using Opera. I cleared out history/cache, .etc and was able to get in. No issues since (fingers crossed and knock wood).

I can log in fine on my old computer BUT I lost my password. Old 'puter remembers it.
I have a new computer and tried the "I forgot my password" thing. TJ says it's sending me a code, but doesn't.
No problem, I will sign in as a new user. However, I still have to receive something from TJ by email, but I never do.
Email works on new puter.
Oh well. It's been fun....

@Labradors
Wait! You can often get your password if it's saved on your web browser, in your settings. Do you mean you had it remember your password, so it fills it in, or do you mean it logs you in without asking for a password?
