Night Sky was gone from our shelves this year too. My Kaitlyn did not find any that she liked better. She did pick out a non-stop begonia for one of my planters that she liked, so I surprised her and bought her a bunny rabbit planter and put the begonia in it for her birthday. She loved it.

Count me in as one who will have to try this! Hybrid plants of any kind are expensive and in the case of vegetables, seeds can be saved but there's no guarantee that the progeny will resemble the parent's desired qualities. I'm sure the same can be said of flowers, assuming the seed isn't sterile. So propagation makes sense, at least during the summer.
Do not look upon the world with fear and loathing. Bravely face whatever the gods offer.
