Re: Highest Heat Tolerant Tomato
If you are not opposed to a hybrid, Florida 7514, does well in the hot, humid summers we have here in North Carolina.
It tastes decent. I grow it mainly for canning and freezing. It has great disease resistance. The first seed that I purchased came from an Ace Hardware Store in Louisiana. They owner was very helpful and sent me a couple of small packets of seed from the bulk seed he had ordered. He said he sold out every year because the tomato could stand up to the summers in Louisiana. It is also one of the few tomatoes that has some resistance to bacterial wilt.

Re: Highest Heat Tolerant Tomato
I might recommend checking out which varieties Marsha and Barb have much of in their seed offers each year, since they garden in Florida (Gardenboy, too, but I believe he's focusing mostly on cherries, these days). A lot of those records are on TV, though, but they might have their own records.
There's a big difference between a small cherry and a large one, though; if you've never grown a large, prolific, round cherry, you might want to try it before dismissing cherries! Some are larger in some gardens than others, though.
