Re: Pondgardener's ponds...
I love ponds. They are so very relaxing and fun to putter with. I miss mine since I moved from my old house but plan on digging two of them into the gardens this year. I am so excited. Mine too attracted hawks.

Re: Pondgardener's ponds...
Back during a drought of mammoth proportions a few years ago I put a water tub in my back yard.
Then I put ramps on the outside then one going into the water and a big rock in the water.
This way all creatures great and small could get a drink.
Seemed like every critter you could think of was drinking from the water tub.
Lizards coming up and down the ramps birds and mammals too.
Even snakes would come by for a drink.

You can't argue with a closed mind.
You might as well be arguing with a cat.

There are 2 gouramis and 2 cory catfish somewhere in the vegetation.

SpookyShoe Lovely Tiger Barb! I miss mine. It's nice to see that someone still has an aquarium. So many people just don't have the interest or time for them these days. For years my aquarium was my TV and once I got the new TV, I still found that the aquarium was far more interesting...
