@peebee I looked at last year's photos, but didn't see any good ones, but here is one from 2018 showing how large the Neon got, with just two in one of my homemade SIPs, only about 5 weeks after planting! No photos after this showing the entire plants - just all the eggplants on them! They are about 2 1/2 ft tall, so you can imagine how large they get later on.

So the pruning is on just the branch, not the main stem? I never paid attention to see if the branches produced more than two flowers. Maybe this makes the stems branch out more, then flower more?

Yes the pruning that is new to me is the one done on each branch. The youtuber also draws pictures besides actually doing it on a plant so it's very informative.
The main stem pruning is the only one I knew about & it was to reinvigorate the spent plant at the end of the season.
