2020 Growing Pains!

I had a really bad experience this year with the Jiffy mix; while I was in the hospital, everything died. I ended up using what little bit I had left mixed with MiracleGro organic potting mix. Restarted everything this morning which means that I am now about 5 weeks later than I should have been. My recommendation is that if you are gonna get really really sick, don't do it during seed-starting season!

Oooh, that hurts! For what it's worth, some years I plant a variety & it doesn't come up, or comes up & dies, and I'm re-seeding over & over, and one or two varieties get planted out a month or more late. You won't get a long harvest but you'll get enough for seeds. If you were counting on a big harvest, plant extra.
