I lived in Houston for ~ five (5) months back in 1976, spent half the summer there in 1977, and have been all over the Lone Star State...from Amarillo to Texarkana to Matamoras to El PaSO.

"formerly of Fairwater, Fond du lac County, Wis" VERY productive soil/farming, there; won't tip the tractor, either...
Had clients in Fairwater (& Markesan, Green Lake, Ripon, Eldorado, etc.) back in the day; hunted geese at the Waupun Prison Farm, just west of the Horicon March; a rare gem!

Raised in Glen Oak Hills and was an inaugural member of the Hill Farms Swim Club; heck, me-n-sibs helped plant those majestic Fir Trees that encircle the place, now.
