Re: How's your weather?
Can't imagine how fast the ground dries out at RH 12%.
Even dropping into the 30% range here it's no time for the dryness to go deep.
Another day of high 70's here, around 79F, quite breezy though and I was able to get some garden things done in the earlier morning and afternoon without being eaten by blackflies. Eventually they got my number, so I gave it up.
Our forecast lows are in the 40's, except for tomorrow night dipping down to the 30's. So I've held off planting the tomatoes. I could and might decide to keep them in the greenhouse after all, but I really want to just plant them out and skip the moving of large plants in heavy containers. Only have 7 plants so I also figured give them bigger containers and reduce the watering demand. But I don't want the hassle of moving that, if possible. 45F doesn't sound too bad for a night?

Frosty here the last couple of mornings. We are getting glorious days following but starts below freezing are not welcome. Down to -1.4C/29.5 F this morning according to local BOM site, supposedly going to -2C /29F tomorrow, most likely lower here as we tend to be cooler than BOM site

Pretty nice.
Got all the doors and windows open to cool the house down with fans pumping air in.
It's down to 77F right now. Inside it was 82F.
Been getting a lot of rain too.

Re: How's your weather?
Relatively cool here with all the rain.
Matagorda county near me had over 12” of rain today. We ended up with 3”.
A couple of small tornadoes did some minor damage in Wharton county to the west north west.
Looks like areas near San Antonio got hammered by rain. Unfortunately, some vehicles were swept off the road by high and fast water and several people perished.
More rain tomorrow.

No rain so far, just hot and sticky. Got some strawberries planted, a couple of blackberries in and reseeded where I *think* I put in 1 batch of beans that did not come up. A forty pound bag of cow compost gets heavy when it is wet.
No rain is currently predicted, so it time to break out the hose for watering. Going to be the high 80's to in the 90's this next week.

Re: How's your weather?
Looks like we are going into Dannys' summer routine time - earlier to bed, up earlier to get what needs doing for each day, retreat inside to avoid the higher heat and humidity. Getting too hot for this cranky old thing to be out in the afternoons if it can be avoided, higher 90's plus coming in daily. Plus the skeeters hearing the ring of the dinner bell at dusk seems worse up here, and they are hungry as hell.
Cloudy is predicted along with the higher temps, so a little blessing of sorts, but dry, no rain seems to be headed our way soon. So, it is break out the hose and water the plants early early early. Same with the rest of any outside chores to be done, plus a hat and sun protection.
Spring this year was great, so no complaints really, other than I am getting old and slow, but better than dead and still !!

Re: How's your weather?
It either rains for 2-3 days with cool weather (not to my liking), or it is hot and dry. When it is dry, the air quality is very poor (Canadian wild fires again?). It has considerably slowed my recovery from the walking pneumonia.
It took me two weeks to set up poles and plant the pole beans, something that I've done in the past in 2, maybe 3, days.
