I picked some onions today. I only wish that heirloom tomatoes would be easy to grow as onions.

When do you plant onions in Bermuda? Are they short season types or mid season? Always heard of Bermuda onions, but never saw a photo of them on the island.

These onions were planted mid November. I bought them from a local nursery. I harvested the first one around the second week of march.
they are short season and very sweet, this year as been a very good year so far.

They look great. 8-)
I didn't know the story of Bermuda onions and had to google it. What a fine thing to grow on your lovely island. :)
