Had you seen this, yet?

They're interviewing Craig LeHoullier and Joe Lamp'l. Anyway, this is cool, since Craig's someone a lot of us either know (such as from TV) or know about (perhaps due to his involvement with the Cherokee Purple tomato). I'm not familiar with Joe Lamp'l, but it looks like he's got a show on PBS: https://joegardener.com/

Hmmm, seems I have to subscribe to read the article. :(

I'm not sure it's a show. If you go to the joegardener page and scroll down to where Joe talks about the Growing Epic Tomatoes thing, it's an online academy and costs $247 to register.

Excellent! I planted indoors too early last year (03/10-11) and 40 some plants got tres leggy, then they caught something nasty and, alas, fatal.

Had to replant all 40 on 04/30; NEVER AGAIN!

FWIW, our first ripe tomato last season was, as fate would have it, Wisconsin 55

Craig L’s book borrowed from the library is what really got me excited about tomatoes. Happy to see him in a big publication like this.

The website and the course aren't his show, but the site I linked to mentioned his show:

"You might know me as the Host & Executive Producer of the PBS show Growing a Greener World®, or you may have seen me on NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America, The Weather Channel, or the DIY Network."

The New York Times let's you read some free articles once in a while. You probably had already met your limit.

Joe Lamp’l’s website has links to his weekly podcasts, often with garden experts who have written a book. He has interviewed LeHoullier more than once, recently and last summer. Here is the address for that one: https://joegardener.com/podcast/tomato- ... ehoullier/

Margaret Roach posted an interview with Craig on her site today. You can read the transcript or listen to the podcast.

If you scroll to the bottom of that page, you can find her previous interviews with Craig as well.
