Tomimaru Muchoo x Estamino
I have never tried the Tomimaru Muchoo tomato. I have grafted some, but never used the Estamino rootstock.
I had a beautiful Curtis Cheek tomato in a large pot and the leaves started yellowing from the bottom up on one side then it started wilting.
I am certain it was Fusarium Wilt. I pulled the plant last night as the pot is quite large and situated in a prime location in the garden.
The soil was totally replaced last year and all was good. Grew a beautiful Wes in that pot last year. Replenished the soil this year with Black Kow and Soil3 and planted the Curtis Cheek.
I stopped at a local garden shop a lunch time and checked out the marked down trays looking for something resistant to Fusarium Wilt. I found the grafted plant marked down to $2.00 so I thought it was worth a try. It appears to be very healthy. It was originally $4.95
Here is a picture of another Curtis Cheek planted at the same time that has set fruit. It doesn't have Fusarium Wilt and is doing great.
Let me know what your feedback is with the Tomimaru Muchoo or the Estamino Rootstock.
