Tati’s Wedding
A company out of CA sells tomato plants. There is an attractive red beefsteak that I’m certain is a renamed variety, but is being sold as Tati’s Wedding. These have been on her website for a few years now, but I never see anyone mention having seeds for it or having grown it. Anyone have this one? I have lots to trade. Thanks, Teresa

Hi Teresa! I realize you wrote that 4-years ago. I too have often wondered why nobody ever mentions this variety. It sounds wonderful. But, with a 4 plant minimum PLUS shipping … it becomes cost prohibitive to purchase. Let me know if you ever came across seeds or any other info.
Thanks

I see on her website the person she originally got seeds from, called it Kazbegi Red to indicate he got it from the Kazbek mountain region as an unnamed local variety. I can't imagine why she thought it was a good idea to change a descriptive name to something totally made up.

Beautiful tomato, but I noticed the exact same picture was used to illustrate "1884" and "Tati's Wedding." Tati's Wedding also has a second picture, but it's the same tomato from a different angle.
