Just joined, happy to be here.
Good day.
I couldn't figure out what happened to Tomatoville, Googled it, and it looks like this is now the place to be. So here I am, living and gardening in the Pacific Northwest. My garden is pretty much my entertainment and I enjoy it very much. It's about 35 x 60 feet, and I grow a variety of produce, but tomatoes, peppers, and snap and shelling beans get my main attention. I lost most of my old heirloom tomato seeds a few years back, due to an unfortunate accident, and now I'm trying to replace them as I go. I've found most of them, but a few are still elusive. Anyway, happy to have found this forum. I see some signatures here that I am familiar with from that "other" place.

Welcome to the Junction @sheltyone. I'm so glad that you found us over here. As you probably already know, tomato seeds fly around here and are very easy to come by during the winter months. Post what you are looking for in the 'Seeds Wanted' section and you may find that someone has them. They also may be found in the MMMM seed swap which is hosted by Tormato.

Re: Just joined, happy to be here.
Thank you for the tip on MMMM, Patti. I went over to that forum, and haven't quite figured it out yet, but I'll work on it. I'm currently looking for just two of my old favorites, I know I'll find them sooner or later. One of them, Stump of the World, I got from the Sample Seed Shop many years ago but I know Remy now gardens in a perfect place.MissS wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 9:27 pm Welcome to the Junction @sheltyone. @sheltyone Just PM me and I will send you some Stump of the World seed. Yes it was Remy''s favorite and we did a big grow out of it in her honor. My original seed came from Remy.

Re: Just joined, happy to be here.
I feel like I just walked into a room of old friends! Worth, I once asked you if you knew an old family friend of ours who worked up there, and yes, you had knowledge of him. Patti, I'd be thrilled to have some of Remy's original seeds, PM coming your way! What a great day this is turning out to be, other than the very heavy smoke here from wildfires both in Washington and Canada; very unhealthy air today, the garden will get watered later, and I'll be wearing an N95 mask!

Patti, I don't think I have the PM'g down, my message is sitting in the outbox, but isn't going anywhere....
