Chipping in from Yorkshire

Hi Guys,
I've been lurking here for a while. I've tried to join TVille a couple of times.. (Without new blood I guess it will eventually just wither away.) It was reading the 'Favourite Cherry Tomato 2023' thread which persuaded me I should pitch in here, tho' its taken me a while to get round to registering. My forum 'home' for the past few years has been the OSSI site, which I can recommend as another source of info. It has certainly helped raise my game.

Welcome to the Junction @Tim DH. I'm glad that you found us. Many of us here originally were and still are from the Ville. So we have lots of people with great information to share.

Hi, Tim! I am from near Liverpool. I think @Amateurinawe is down South and we have another UK member in Bristol.

How is your tomato season going?

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your welcomes….

@Josetom Sorry, I can’t name A favourite tomato. Three of my favourites are Imur Prior Beta, Rosella and Goat’s Tit.

@PlainJane I dabble in a bit of snowdrop breeding, trying (amongst other things) to raise a large flowered yellow. That is the best medium sized yellow so far.

@rossomendblot I’ve just succeeded in updating the location on my profile.

@labradors I haven’t yet crunched the numbers on this season, but my feeling is its going well. Size isn’t everything, but I was pleased with this Uluru Ochre.

That's an awesome color, Tim. I don't think I've seen one sliced before. What are the color genetics in Uluru Ochre?

Welcome and greetings from northeast PA. I have grown Uluru Ochre and love it. Must consider planting it again!
