Grocery store tomato taste in your area

Today, I saw a bowl of Roma-style red grocery store tomatoes in the refrigerator. Someone got them before they realized we would have ripe tomatoes to eat a while back.

Anyway, they needed to be eaten, so I washed one and took a bite. I was surprised to find that it was actually a very good tomato (the taste). Probably the best-tasting grocery store Roma I've ever had. Hopefully the rest of them in the bowl are just as tasty.
