Interestingly one of the ads at the bottom of my page today is for Carolyn Male's book on tomatoes.

Blue and white flash forum thing is back happening again.
Together, trees make an ecosystem that tempers the extremes of heat & cold, stores lots of water, & makes a lot of humidity. In this environment, trees can live to be very old. To get to this point, the community must remain intact no matter what.

Still here whenever I change threads or move around the site. Firefox is the browser in use.

Re: Site inundated with ads
Strangely they are much worse on my Android phone than on my desktop. On my phone this morning as soon as I opened the site I had a big ad at the top talking about Trump and with a dancing alien. It didn't make a lot of sense to me. I was able to scroll past it.

All the ads are removed so if you still see some they should disappear if you refresh your phone.

You got to dance with the one that brought you? As the song goes...

Re: Site inundated with ads
No it was some announcement about a Trump program relating to mortgages. I didn't read it but there was a green alien dancing all around beside the text. I don't know what that was supposed to mean. It was totally strange.SpookyShoe wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 8:59 amTrump was dancing with an alien???brownrexx wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 7:49 am Strangely they are much worse on my Android phone than on my desktop. Maybe the opportunity was supposed to be seen as rare or alien/new to us. Maybe it makes sense in another culture.

Re: Site inundated with ads
I recalled there was a way to use amazon affiliate that instead of going to a direct item, it's to the main page of Amazon, but still have the referral.
Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/?tag=referrer_id
Don't they have this anymore?
