High visibility pickling cucumber

My biggest problem with cucumbers is that I always miss a few that go on to become giants that are too big to pickle. White cucumbers sound promising but really any color that really stands out against the green leaves would help. Does anyone have varieties to suggest?

Cukes love to play hide and seek under all those vines. I don't know that any change in cuke color would help them stand out. I usually use a stick to gently move vines a bit one way or another to help find them. It works pretty good but there will always be a renegade or two that get missed. :)

Any discussion of things escaping the naked eye would not be complete without the mention of Zuke Honkers; I stubbed my toes BIG TIME on a completely hidden Monster Black Beauty while watering Friday morning.

I had cukes in hanging baskets one year and they latched on to the sat tv cable.
So I could plan my menus from a quick glance.
I used real soil in 5gal containers which were real heavy, but it was worth it.
I didn't have to water every day.
I have one now just growing against a short fence that is yellow I am saving for the seeds.
I can't see paying 40+ cents per seed.

It's not my thing, but probably you have to do those single stem growing style up a string. Or limit to a few stem and each with their own string.

Any kind of trellising to get them off the ground helps in visibility and access, you do have to help guide them along up to start with, using something like clips, string, or at least re-winding tendrils where you want them to go. Even so, I still miss some cukes when the vines spread out by mid summer. I like Salt and Pepper as a small white pickling cuke.

or some kind of hut that the cukes grow over with wide openings that you can walk under and eat without using your hands.
Plus you would get a shaded area to sit in.

Tell you what, I really like the wax pole beans for picking, same reason. Monte Gusto, good beans. No idea on the cucumber though.
