grandma gina/uncle steve cross pole beans
i sent a bag o bean seeds in for the swap.
anybody growing them?
how are they doing?
i just picked several pounds of them, and they are looking, and tasting very nice.
you should have a mix of sizes. some are plain green romano type. i have two sizes going.
both are tender sweet.
there should be about four different types of purple streaked beans. some beans are big and fat.
others are longer, slender with slightly different coloring.
i have one plant that is producing round purple streaked beans.
select the best for seed, and eat the rest.
i am selecting for size, taste, earliness, and vigor.
