Some days just have to be shared. 76 degrees, no wind, not a cloud in the sky.

I did nothing outside today. Though the temp was ok, it was very windy - 20 mph sustained, and 35-40 mph gusts. It was supposed to rain more, but only .01", and nothing before midnight - I think there was more dew than rain! Tomorrow is supposed to get only to 59°, and windy again. Fortunately, not much I have to do out there yet.

Wind and rain here as well, all day yesterday and overnight. Our max sustained wind was around 37 mph/60 kph gusting 50 mph/80 kph. Nothing unusual for us though. Since it was from the SE I didn't worry too much about pots blowing around the yard, but apparently it's going to keep raining or showering and veer around to the north instead over the next two days. Currently 60F/15C and a few rays of sunshine breaking through, and TBH most of October so far has been highs into the low 60's, quite pleasantly warm. My only complaint is that we had no frost to put the spiders to bed for the season, and they are super cranky and savagely biting. I just got a new set of welts while planting and mulching garlic two days ago. I guess they were in the leaves...
Highs in the 40's are expected in the coming days, so I hope that's cold enough to send them off.

Tranquil. Sunny, Started off at 67° heading to mid 80s. Week ahead offers more of the same with a chance of showers. Next cool down looks to be around Halloween.

Close to 80 for the next three days. Longest streak of the year with no rain, will be about 6 days. Next week, the first frost is expected. Green onion tops are all that's left to be harvested.

Warm and great today, but due to have a rather sudden and unusual drop in temps for the next week. About 20 degrees lower than the norm. The pepper plants are blooming again, so it will be a shock to them. We did have some good rain finally, but still in drought, though the weeds are happy and growing.

After the cool snap, I suspect we will warm up to more normal temps again. Hope so, roses being transplanted.

Yesterday right when it was time to load up and go home the cold rain of all rains hit the area.
Couldn't see anything it was so hard.
This went on for several miles and I finally drove out from under the massive black cloud.

Record-breaking heat here again the last few days (low to mid-80s), but we're in for a sharp change on Tuesday, and it looks like we could get our first frost and freeze by Thursday. Still relentlessly dry, which has made for a dull fall foliage season. We're at peak color now but it's not what it usually is; too many leaves fell from the drought without really turning. Even so, it's a beautiful time of the year.

It got to 84° in my back today, but 63° is the forecast high tomorrow, and 54° for Halloween! And later in the week, Wednesday night or Thursday night, 33° for a low. Which is why I harvested most of my peppers today - not much time left for them!

Our run of warmer than normal is about to end, as temp will drop into the 40's tomorrow afternoon and a goose egg forecast overnight. It's very classic that we see our first flakes of snow or sleet on halloween, and looks like it may hold true to that, with highs in the 40's next week and lows closer to freezing. We haven't had a frost yet! But the leaves have turned anyway, and some have fallen; still quite a few on the trees and some lovely color, especially trees that have been chowed down by moose most years but are still in leaf this time; sugar maple, oak, hawthorn have some brilliant orange and reds.

we will be having a snow event monday. any where from 2 to 8 inches of snow.
temps won't get out of the 30s for several days. lows in the 20s. might reach 40
later in the week. not going to be a friendly halloween for the trick or treaters.
the village had a trick or trunk. saturday. kids were able to get candy from people
who parked, and gave out treats from their trunks. snow maybe won't stick around
for long yet, but monday could be a bit of a mess.

49° this morning heading for 52°. Might get some moisture around lunchtime.

I’ve got jury duty, won’t be picked, but still got to show up by 8am. I’m sure I’ll have to park 15 miles from the court house, they decided to put the new annex on the existing parking lot.

Today will be the fourth straight day of 80's and it will also be the last one for the year. We're about to fall off the temp cliff. Tomorrow's high will be 65 and Wednesday's will be 56. First frost is coming. Wednesday thru Friday lows look like 35,31,34 respectively. At least they changed that Thursday 28 to 31 since yesterday!

The beans, okra, field peas and peppers will say goodbye. The brassicas will smile and wave. :)

I don’t believe a frost is in our forecast for this week. Maybe 39° for the bottom Wednesday or Thursday morning. 49° currently 9° C . I got picked for round 2 jury duty and about to get my number. Once the attorneys get a good look at me and question me I generally get sent on my way.

Number 4# this sounds serious!
