Murray Seed Co.? Other eBay & Etsy vendors?

Has anyone purchased from eBay/Etsy seller Murray Seed Co.?

Which current eBay or Etsy sellers do you trust to send correct, quality seeds? Any recent bad experiences with eBay/Etsy vendors?

I ran across Murray Seed Co. when googling for info on a less-common tomato I'm considering for this year. They have a lot of interesting varieties, free shipping, and very reasonable prices. Feedback is good except for a small number of complaints about canceled orders or non-delivery. The problem with eBay seed vendors is you only get 30 days to leave feedback, so there's no way to leave negative feedback about getting incorrect, not-true-to-type seeds. All you can say is yes, I received tomato seeds and they look clean. No way to say I bought a fancy pink heirloom beefsteak and ended up with a bland hard red saladette.

I took a risk and ordered one pack of seeds from an Etsy seller this year. I hope the seeds I ordered are what they are supposed to be! The alternative was paying triple (with postage included) from another vendor. Maybe I should have dropped that variety instead.
But over the years, I've gotten a handful of wrong varieties from plants I got in a nursery or traded seeds/plants. <shrug>
If I'm only going to grow one plant and the price is fairly low, it's not a huge risk. But I would not plan my whole garden around seeds from an unproven vendor.

I've never had a problem with any seeds from ebay or Etsy vendors. Here are two Etsy sites I've ordered from:
https://www.etsy.com/shop/MertieMae?section_id=20462108

https://www.etsy.com/shop/TimsTomatoes? ... 41b5e94f0d

And here's an ebay site I bought from this season - first time, but they had a bunch of things I needed, and 50+ seeds, at good prices. Time will tell how they do.

Just glancing at it, some I got are gone already!

I haven't bought from them but I have ordered from these guys for a couple of years now and had very good luck with germination and true to type. https://www.etsy.com/shop/WoodlandCreat ... d=25527374

good to hear, wykvlvr, I just bought about 7 varieties from woodlandcreationz that I hadn’t been able to source elsewhere. My first etsy seed purchase and I was a bit hesitant to go that route, now i’m a bit more confident.

I get a lot of my seeds from woodland and the wheels of seeds on Etsy so far I have not had a bad batch from either except the kurley Kaley I got from woodland not 1 seeds was good but I cannot put blame solely on the vendor it could be me or the dirt I used I bought a brand new pack last week and will see if it’s user error
