National Gardening Day 2024
The weather will be superb, the warmest we've had so far this year with a high of 77°F /25°C https://nationaltoday.com/national-gard ... %2C%202024
In celebration, I'll be direct seeding April Cross Daikon Radishes and Space Hybrid Spinach; if energy permits, then some Joy Choi Pak Choi and Sui Choy Chinese Cabbage.
Afterwords...beer and deck...in that order; others?

Spinach and lettuce are already in. Peas and green onions will be planted today. Adding more organic matter to the Monster Mater Bed and getting 'er done for her maiden voyage.
Having the lawn aerated today, then I will patch some areas with seed.

Later on I might tie up the tomatoes and sprinkle a little water on my recently seeded bed of okra and basil. Might need to pick some Emerite filet beans today and by tomorrow for sure.
There’s always something to do in a garden.

Everything is sprouting here as the snow slinks off into the forest.
First garlic sprouts, first crocuses flowered today.

For national gardening day, I tore down a shed in my back yard and burned it. The shed was on its last leg and it had to die.
