I was referring to Bower, in Newfoundland.worth1 wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 9:32 amActually they have been here.Tormato wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 9:03 amOn the bright side, if you get enough development, the Rolling Stones just might finally book your place on a tour.bower wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 6:59 amWhen I moved here 30 years ago, it was a 2 acre lot size minimum. That didn't last long!
They decided to bring in water and sewer services, in spite of high cost to residents and a lively debate.
Now almost all the area between my home and the main road (and river) including the steep hillside is high density residential, a complete switch to urban. So much land has been developed in the area it has become the highest density of population in our sprawling town (two towns amalgamated).
There's another piece of the subdivision going in again probably starting this summer, so I'm girding for a rat year.![]()
My wife bought tickets for a concert in Austin and I didn't want to go because it was outside and the walk was horrible at zilker Park.
So she went with another girl.
She got back and said it was horrible.
Next I'm not a Rolling Stones fan.
I like some songs but not many.
Last concert for me was David Bowie.
Best concert ever.
It's like the guy did all his music from the beginning to almost the end of his life.
What a class act.

You can't argue with a closed mind.
You might as well be arguing with a cat.
