Yeah, I'm investing in tomato seed futures...I just planted a bunch of seeds yesterday...

It's almost time to buy!!! I think it's gonna drop a little more before it goes up and break the record high again. It's time to refinance or buy if you need to, rates yesterday were 3.5%.

I think there are going to be a lot of "dead cat bounces" before the market gains steady upward traction. This whole roller coaster thing is crazy and it makes me wonder how much of it is in the hands of the short sellers. Probably a lot of it. You would think that super February jobs report this morning would make for an up day but the excuse is that March's report is going to be bad, showing the effects of a corona slowdown. AND, of course, the usual excuse that it's Friday and nobody wants to hold anything over the weekend.

I'm revamping the watch list but will keep the powder dry for now.

Once we get over the hump of dealing with the Carona Virus and it becomes more of a day to day thing we are living with, we know how to deal with it, I think it is going to settle down. Especially after the election when no matter how it turns out, we know what the next 4 years will hold. I hope so. Eventually it will simply be a fact of life, a vaccine will come out, and we will deal with it.

Just fyi, short sellers sell first, then buy back to cover and close the position. It is a sell and then a buy. To play the market on the long side, one buys, holds, then sells. It is a buy and a sell. The net effect on the market is the same, whether one goes long or short. All market participants add liquidity, reduce spreads, and bring down costs for everyone.

Friday oil is down 10 %
various ways of measuring the various stock indexes down 10 % for the week .

But Tomato seeds and futures ….. are looking up in spring ...and the enjoyment is PRICELESS !....lol

Tomato Dividends growth are assured !
2nd and 3rd quarter outlook is especially bright for Tomato seeds and their derivatives. lol lol lol

sigh ...what a day …..All global markets down today ….

at this time Dow down 1200 points ….
and now The World Health Organization as finally declared "Pandemic" with coronavirus .
Today also is the day "Bear Market " is also recognized.
While Saudis and Russian Oil declare Price War on North American producers .

On this notable " Bear Day" ….I guess I will "self quarantine" and watch the movie "The Big short "

and continue to invest in the Tomato outlook .

Tomato seeds and derivatives continue to have a strong performance ...
the Blackbear 40 index
(Based on the basket of 40 varieties for 2020) is sharply up for the week .
The Stock has produced such strong results that it has resulted in giving away many of the seedlings in 6 inch pots to Family and friends.
Other analysts have predicted the usual problems with storage capacity in the 3rd quarter but that has not deterred production and resulting dividends . The 2020 projections are for solid growth and massive reinvestment.

On the home front here, pepper stocks are up but only by about 50%. Tomatoes are predicted to be an emerging market later this week.

All kidding aside, seed sales really are way up. If you've visited any online seed sellers recently, you see the notices that due to volume of sales shipments could be delayed. Everyone's planting!

I ordered from Dale at Delectation of Tomatoes the other night and he said that business was booming with lots of new customers. There will be many people out there trying their hand at gardening this year. I think that's great! It will give them a new hobby and they will be learning something. Of course there is the reward of having something that you have grown your self on the table. Yay for those new to gardening!
