It is hot and humid, Pineapple and Brandywine just started blushing today , and I'm already thinking about next year's tomato garden! :D Hi everyone. I've been gardening for a couple decades but only got seriously into tomatoes in 2020 (what else is there to do during a pandemic). Cherokee Purple became a grow-every-year variety, and I seem to love the darks and the pinks in particular. Still hunting for the perfect cherry...

Hello and welcome to the forum from the White Mountains! Sungold, Black Cherry, and Sakura are my top cherries after trialing several dozen. I never stop trying new ones though!

Howdy from Texas to the Capitol of Canada.

Pineapple and Brandywine are both late tomatoes for me so great for you getting them already blushing.

I’m with you on next year’s tomatoes, always thinking about those.

Welcome to the forum from further east and afloat. :)
I'm growing a pink cherry this summer that was bred at the Ottawa research station back in the 1970's: Mini Rose. So far I tasted the first one - tiny and tangy.

Welcome from east central Georgia! This year SunSugar has become my favorite cherry, edging out Rosella because of producing so prolifically.

Welcome from Kingston!

Although I love Brandywine, I find it much too late for here. Little Lucky has a similar great taste and is earlier although smaller (Brandywine is a parent). I also love Rose.

I love cherries. Rosella Purple and Pink Princess are delicious round ones. Blush and Prairie Fire are tasty elongated cherries that grow well in tomato cages.

Hello and welcome to the Junction @tomatopia glad to have you here. Pinks and blacks seem to be my favorites too. Your favorite list is going to get long if you hang around here much.

@tomatopia you threw me a little with the "hot and humid". I was thinking down South, that's what I get for not paying attention.@MissS is the go-to if you have any questions.
Welcome to the Junction. Pinks and Blacks PL are also my favorites.

Thank you @FatBeeFarm for showing me this little trick.

Welcome to TomatoJunction! :)

So, what do you want in a cherry tomato? What size of cherry? Super sweet or something else? Do the plant qualities matter to you? (Like production, resilience, leaf type, growth habit, days to maturity, OP or F1 hybrid, disease/pest resistance, and so forth.)

There's a widely held misconception that all cherry tomatoes are rampant disease-proof indeterminates that produce prolifically early and all season in all conditions, but having grown many cherries, that's not actually the case.
