pasty is something you eat.
pastie is something women wear when they aren't wearing much else.

i put ketchup/catsup on my pasty. some people like gravy.
one pasty connoisseur told me that a properly made pasty doesn't need anything on it to drown out the flavor.

calumet has a pasty fest each year during the summer. i will have to let the gotch know when the next one rolls around.

Never tried any of the Daikons @Cornelius_Gotchberg , I doubt one could find a particular variety, they are just labelled as Daikon Radish in the catalogues I have noted them in.

They're both versatile, très nutritious (https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/daikon-radish), and (IMO) fabulously delicious; I'll send you's some seeds.

This week I received another beautiful post card from Wisconsin. Interestingly in the picture are same berries, which I got to taste last weekend when visiting my mother.

On the top left there is picture of a berry named tree strawberry. It looks similar to the plants and berries, which my aunt had given to my mother. It is Rubus illecebrosus, which is called as balloon berry. I googled and there is a plant named strawberry tree and the fruit is similar, but does not have sepals and berries grow in clusters, so that plant in the post card must be the balloon berry.
