looking for a South African memeber
Hi folks, I am hoping to connect with someone from South Africa to help me get one variety of tomato seeds not available anywhere else. I have found a source but they do not ship overseas so am hoping someone will be able to help me. I will of course pay all costs and shipping and send the helper something from our side if it is allowed,
If anyone can help please send me a PM as I am desperately trying to get this variety ,
I am new here but am known on this forum from a previous one.
XX Jeannine

You could try contacting Zenbaas, @Jeannine Anne .
He's the only one from South Africa here, that I know of.

I've traded with Zenbaas a couple of times. It has taken at least 6 months for mail to get there, or arrive here.
And, yes, we'd like to know what the variety is.

The meatiness, shown in the pics from the one known vendor is impressive. By looks alone, the kind of tomato that I like to grow. I'd continue to keep trying to contact him, here, with best plans being to get seeds for next year.Jeannine Anne wrote: ↑Mon Apr 07, 2025 12:22 amThe variety is Orange Flute and I had contacted Zenbaas fro TV but it was just a few days before the site went down so I didn;t hear back

Just updating. sadly I did not connect with Zenbaas but I have managed to set up another way , not a TJ member though. Iwill get the tomato seeds in late summer so they will be grown next season.
I am so very happy now as they were for a special purpose, but will share once I have seeds with someone as I am getting on a big bit and would like to keep them going in North America.. Orange Flute...they look very good to me.
