old seed starting

I haven't grown tomatoes for an number of years. I thought I'd see if my old seed was viable and planted a pinch of Crimson Cushion and Silver tree. Just tamped the seeds into moist soil. It looks like most germinated; not bad for 2012 seed.

That's impressive for seeds from 2012! Always satisfying to see older stock still sprouting. I’ve had mixed results with older tomato seeds myself, but sometimes they surprise you. Curious to see how Crimson Cushion and Silver Tree do for you this season
