I figured out where I'd seen the patented @Mark_Thompson Wedge Cut©™® Bacon method before; it's a Pork version of...um...properly sliced Hanger Steak:

That looks killer. My oversized bacon is just due to a lack of knife skills. I can only get so thin then once I start getting to the irregular ends we’re settling for chunks.

The Ribbed Reddy filled the kitchen with that unmistakably fresh Tomato Aroma, and despite the delightful taste of each being pretty much neck-n-neck, the nod goes to the Ribbed Reddy.

Both were nice-n-firm, and yielded gracefully to the knife administering the @Mark_Thompson Wedge Cut©™® method. The Purple was no slouch, but the Yeller was the clear winner, here. High praise from the lovely and long suffering "My Least Favorite Tomato Is Store Bought" Mrs. Gotch, who positively gushed about its tangy taste!

You should give the Campari tomatoes from Metro a try. While they are not as good as the orange ones when they are good, they are better than the purple by far. While they will need some slices to fill your sammy, they are really good and better than most store bought things.

The taste on both of these Tomatoes was just short of spectacular, (nod to the citrusy tang of the Yeller), and yet again earning the praise of the lovely and long suffering Mrs. "My Least Favorite Tomato Is Store Bought" Gotch
