Tomatoes are doing just fine …

maybe you can also "buy" some oil ..
and the money they send you for taking some oil ..you can use to buy more Tomatoes .

Stick with the Tomatoes.

I have turned over a new leaf and am now investing in the stalk market.
Not only celery but those good tomato stalks that will be sturdy and bear fruit, per your Bear advice.
It's a pundemic. :o  ;)

well ok... as this year is turning out to be a bad year around here for
transitlink and bc ferries loosing over several million dollars a day ..I will refrain from bailout or reinvestment . :o

Western Canadian Select Oil at time of writing is negative 3.83 a barrel (-3.83).

But I will "stalk " up on Blackberries Salmonberries and Salmon for a long tough winter ahead . ;)

But above all ..Stick with the Tomatoes ! :)

This is the first year I've played the stalk market. Stalks are growing in value, especially celery & lovage. Peas are an emerging market. Tomatoes are maintaining a steady growth.

Geese I am appreciating more the "stalk" market as perennial greens and volunteers are increasing in value
due to the sudden seed shortage . And yes Tomatoes are maintaining a steady upward growth.

Further more.... don't bother to look at the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI)

Instead Look at the TMI the Tomato Managers Index (TMI) it will keep you more upbeat .

Ah, yes, I forgot the salad greens! I received a windfall payout of salad green seeds at a seed swap in December. Not yet reaping the benefits, but salad futures are looking bright!

In this Tsunami of greed ….
I have doubled down with tomato clones .
If the summer of hope does turn into the summer of discontent .
I will have to eat my profits.

Celery performed best when I liquidated it (in pots in the shallow end of the pond).
Tomato plants plummeted to 10% of their face value (9 of 90 survived). I started fresh and doubled down on many. I don't want to be left with an empty space, so hedged my bets by planting two to a hole. I and am seeing steady growth in a healthy market.
Rhubarb increased by 50% (new neighbor didn't want the rhubarb that was in their yard).
Snap peas look headed for windfall profits in a week or so!
Salad greens are also delivering huge benefits.
Peppers are starting slow but steadily gaining.
Invested in milkweed for the monarchs- steady growth there.
Increased my elderberry investments by 100%. Can't wait for the dividends.
