I mixed this throughout the soil

I used this fertilizer about 1 week in... then again in another 2 weeks
Image20200707_150956.jpg

I did not water much at first, because we were getting quite a bit of rain and the plants were small, but now I am using this drip irrigation device to water approximately 1 gallon 3 times a day

But this condition existed before I started with the drip irrigation....
Thanks for any advice
I don't see an image for the type of potting soil. Did it have fertilizer in it already?

Growing Coastal Thanks for chiming in. There is a pic of the potting soil in post #7 of this thread. It is the fourth image. Organic with moisture control.

Thank you Spartan and Coastal for contributing to my thread, Spartan I don't think I've had any kind of Drift from herbicide , but it's not out of the question...
I have my drip irrigation set up to water each plant 1 gallon 3 times a day oh, I have no saucers underneath, so I'm pretty sure that can't be too much water, and it is very hot here right now... so at this point, I'm really just wondering if I have gone with a bad fertilizing routine , I'm going to leave the drip irrigation set where it is for consistency, and I'm not going to fertilize for at least a couple weeks, and just see what , perhaps the Miracle-Gro shake and feed has activated, and will do its job period, I appreciate all the feedback I have gotten how about this, I will post pictures in a week or two so that you guys that are interested can see if what I have done has been beneficial... I'm certain at some point though that I'm going to have to go with a balanced fertilizer , and I don't have it yet

So now I have another question altogether for any of the moderators please...

I have tried within the Tomato talk Forum to create a new topic altogether, and have not been able to do so, the problem is it just keeps bringing me back to this topic when I hit the button "new topic" in this screenshot

Sorry being new to The Forum, perhaps I just don't understand the interface

If you would like to create a new topic in the 'Tomato Talk' forum, then click the 'New Topic' tab marked with the pencil. That should open a screen which is headed 'Tomato Talk' and will have a red line below that that says 'Post A New Topic'. That tells you that you are in the right place. There will be a box to fill in with the Subject and then a box for the body of your message. If you still have problems feel free to PM me.

I don't think they are getting nearly enough water with three 10 minute driptape amounts daily. that isn't emitting much water. not enough to make the media damp to the bottom of the containers. I water at least three times a day in my containers and I stand there with a water breaker filling the containers until there is enough to drain to the bottom. and that leathery feel/look is usually 2,4,d drift, not round up. round up will kill it dead. drift is enough to damage the foliage and growth.

I do agree that I don't think that they have enough water. Also as the plants grow larger, they will need even more.

I just came in from my garden and I had 2 plants that had curled leaves. Both of these were on the end of the rows and were dryer than the rest when I checked the soil. I watered them well and will check to see if they are still curled tomorrow. I bet that their leaves have opened back up.

Well... I have four drippers per each plant, and water is coming out of the bottom of both of them each time... so 1 gallon per watering per each plant three times a day
