Would you like a Grow Log= GLOG forum?
It would be a place to start a thread to document your growing season. All of your information can be in one place and it's great to browse in the off season to see what worked and what didn't.

You can make a grow log category. That way people can use it if they want to. I am sure some will use it.

I think Organic gardening should just be one section, instead of split into three.

Are you saying you don't like the three different forums? Should I put it all in one forum with this name: Organic Gardening, Composting/Permaculture & Soil Maintenance?

I think it's a better idea for now, I don't expect it to have a massive amount of postings compared to other sections. These topics are related, people who are interested in one of these will be interested in the other two. Having them grouped together will actually promote more participation. They only need to be separated later on if there are too many threads to keep up in one day, I don't think it will be the case.Rajun Gardener wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 5:29 pmAre you saying you don't like the three different forums? I think there are people who compost (Or use cover crops) but they use conventional fertilizer and/or Pesticides as well. I think it is good to encourage composting and soil improvements even if growers are not organic.
I would put compost under the soil improvement category. If you need more categories under organic you could use Biodynamics though there may not be too many practicing this method. Just an idea.

Hey Elaine,
I plant by the moon, using Maria Thun´s planting calendar every year. Think it falls under Biodynamics. Charles uses the planting calendar too and I think he has also started using some of the biodynamics preparations.
Too complicated to gather those ingredients.
