I need your help. I have never grown any of the following tomatoes.
I have room for seven in raised beds. Four will need to be in 10-15 gallon containers.
Which would you put in the containers?

Aunt Ginny's Purple
Big Beef
Black from Tula
Bulgarian Triumph
Girl Girl's Weird Thing
Indian Stripe PL
Maya and Sion's Airdrie Classic
Momotaro
Neves Azorean Red
Spudakee
Stump of the World

Thanks, Steve

Steve,
According to this article Momotaro is a great candidate for growing in a container.

For future gardens, you may consider dwarf varieties for your container plants. They do great in them, and taste as good as heirlooms.

A handy rule of thumb is that smaller fruited varieties will tolerate a smaller container than a larger fruited.
So on that basis, I would suggest Bulgarian Triumph as well as Momotaro.
That being said, I think most tomato plants even beefs are okay with a 10-15 gallon container. 15 maybe best to keep them going for a longer season. I have had some trouble with bigger plants/bigger fruited not being contented in a 5 gallon, which would be fine for smaller fruited types.
I haven't actually grown any of the plants on your list. Indian Stripe RL though I have grown in a big fishtub with a second plant and it does fine, so I would guess ISPL would be similar and just fine in 10-15 gallons.

Hi Steve
One hot year I grew GGWT in a 5 gal. It performed well but needed a lot of watering. Should do really well in a 10-15 gal.
Spudatula is a PL Black from Tula (?) I grew that in a 5 gal pot one year and it did quite well.
SOTW also did well in a 7gal pot. It needed lots of water but one drop too much made them split in cool weather at season's end. A delicious! tomato.

Bulgarian Triumph could probably go in a 5 gallon container. I grow it in a tomato cage every year as it doesn't get all that big.

SOTW did fine for me in a 15 gal container this past year.
