Oaxacan Jewel
I was stunned to find these fairly big greenies on my Oaxacan Jewel plant! This is a new-to-me early variety

You should be very happy with that one. Could be over a pound. That was one of my favorite slicers the year that I grew it.

That is a beautiful cluster. I'm remembering now how much better the fruit looks when you grow them outdoors. They get the full pollination and that gorgously ruffly shape.
In my greenhouse they are often smaller and sometimes even seedless. The plant will make fruit in all conditions.

Wow, fruit already in Ontario?! Remarkable! I've just got first flowers this week.
Too many tomatoes, not enough time.

Miss Tee, I don't know whereabouts you are, but we had quite a heatwave for several days which forced the tomatoes to set fruit early this year. I'm very happy about that

One of the Oaxacan Jewel tomatoes blushed today. There's rain in the forecast, so I picked it. Can't wait to taste it......
