Re: 2021 wish lists
So far this is my wish list:
Honey Drop cherry
Supersweet 100 cherry
Estler's Mortgage Lifter
Aunt Ginny's Purple
Rosella Crimson
Rosella Purple
Amana Orange
Swoon
Brandywine
Our WalMart has been out of those 2x3 resealable plastic bags forever. But today they had a few so I grabbed them. Yaaaaaayyyy! Now I can start bagging these seeds.

Re: 2021 wish lists
You substituted Giant Fiolet for Grandma Oliver's Chocolate. I'll check on GOC to see if I still have any. It was a Nifty Fifty variety last year, so many many packs went out.

Are you going to be able to send in these two varieties to the MMMM?habitat-gardener wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 10:04 am wanted: great-tasting early determinates

now that would be a spoiler...though I have been saving lots of seeds. They were the first to produce this year, and next year I will plant them a lot earlier!steve ok wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 2:33 pmAre you going to be able to send in these two varieties to the MMMM?habitat-gardener wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 10:04 am wanted: great-tasting early determinates

Re: 2021 wish lists
I'll have to make the trek to see if they're finally available near me.
I've seen similar bags at craft stores (JoAnn?) and at Dollar Tree (not exactly the same size, and fewer than 100 for $1).

Re: 2021 wish lists
You can make the trek from home. Go online to Walmart.com and find your local store. Scroll down to the search thing and enter "2x3" reclosable bags". Be sure NOT to do your search at the very top of the page as that one is for Walmart in general. Scroll down farther to search your local store.habitat-gardener wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 8:43 pmI'll have to make the trek to see if they're finally available near me.

Now, I'm not one for relying on WalMart's inventory accuracy, that's for sure! But after seeing "out of stock" for weeks and then all of a sudden seeing "limited availability" I checked the craft section during the next grocery trip. They had four packs and I took three. They're 100 bags for $1.44 here. Now I need more. My sister happens to be near a different WalMart tomorrow and that one says "in stock" so she's going to get me more.
See if your fingers can do the driving for you ahead of time! Not saying that "in stock" might turn out to be "out of stock" but we'll see.

Re: 2021 wish lists
Saraev Vesennie Zamorozki was one that I sent in last year. You said you're looking for more early determinates. Do you generally like the variety? Because I have several other Saraev and early determinate E. European varieties that I could potentially send in. I'd also be interested in seeing Early Pink Wonder.habitat-gardener wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 8:40 pmnow that would be a spoiler...though I have been saving lots of seeds. Re: 2021 wish lists
I do like Saraev VZ! How different are the other Saraevs and other early determinate varieties? I wouldn't want to plant several varieties that are too similar; I like variety. I also planted Strelka: I love the dramatic sepals and the unique taste, but so far it hasn't produced more than a handful.OhioGardener wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 12:08 pmSaraev Vesennie Zamorozki was one that I sent in last year.
