That's why I find these family blood line advertisements so preposterous.
No way can they tell if you're English or German or whatever.
That got washed out hundreds of years ago.
Then with the invasion of the Islamic world way up into Europe its even more complicated.

I found a tomato on my wild tomato plant yesterday.
Not sunglold but whatever other one I planted that year.
Oh I remember but can't remember the name.
Tip of my tongue.
Smallish tomato red elongated.

Smokey my cat ran out of the house just as I was ready to leave for work.
Didn't even bother to try and get her back in.
Total waste of time and not going to play her games..
Came home from work and she came running to the truck like a dog meeting its master after a long day of work.

They decided that building a bridge over town lake for to new rail system would be to complex.
So they decided to digging a tunnel under town lake.
There are several bridges over the lake and no tunnels.
They really want that tunnel.

last stanley update, not a good one.

stanley went missing yesterday. i believe she fell victim to a hawk.
how do i know it was a hawk? i interrupted another attack on a chick.
i had just come home from a walk with the dog when i heard a flapping
of wings then saw a large hawk, i'll say it was a red tail hawk fly up from
the ground toward the pines. i put the dog in right away, and started looking around
and found one of the brown chicks laying prostrate on the ground. she has a puncture wound
behind one shoulder, and a superficial wound under an eye. she is still alive. right now i would
say her chances are 50:50. so, what to do? i can try to shoot the hawk which is illegal or protect
the chicks until they are bigger. our chicken tractor is now empty from the meat birds. the surviving
chicks are going in there until they get bigger. four including the wounded chick are in there now.
the other four are too skittish right now for me to grab them. normally they would come to hand if
i had food for them, but not today. i will most likely have to wait until they enter the coop tonight
before i can grab them.
we were all pretty fond of that little bird. she had come such a long way from her rough start, and was
doing so well. GRRRRRRRRRR.

Went to a meeting this morning.
First rattle out of the box everybody gets railed on for something someone did.
After this the head man in charge pointed out three people that did outstanding work.
I was one of them. :)

I always like working with someone that remembers something that happened over a year ago.
Nothing spectacular but just a wee little event.
So refreshing.

Neighbors house burned down up the road.
Looks like it started in the car port or garage.
Went to work it was fine.
Came home a burned out mess.
I suspect it was from a boat they were working on or a vehicle.
This usually occurs when someone does their own wiring without proper fuzes or breakers.
Another is wire sized too small.
And just because you take it to some place to have it done don't assume they know what they are doing either.
Seen way too many really crappy jobs done at RV dealerships and know better.
And don't assume the factory stuff is any good.
Never was a fan of parking a vehicle of any kind practically in the house.
You have a battery wire a gas tank and the opportunity for disaster.

Guy in our town burned up his home. Had a vehicle servicing/repair business running out of his residential neighborhood garage, first red flag, and was grinding metal next to flammable solvents and such, call that strike two and three. Garage goes up in flames from the sparks setting the solvents on fire and takes part of the house with it. Wonder was insurance supposedly paid off the claim. Running a business like that in the residential neighborhood is forbidden in this town.

This is why contrary to popular belief you can't distill alcohol in a residential neighborhood.
You have to go through government hoops and paperwork to do it.
But yet you see people on YouTube do it all the time thinking it's OK.
You can make beer and wine but you can't run pot still in your house or our in the yard.

Here is the house.
I hope everyone is OK.
There was a nice restored Skeeter bass boat under the mess.
Then an aluminum boat got burned up.
Never saw the other shiny one before, it was a new addition.
These folks have lived here for years.
Even seen the kids grow up.
The girl was in 4 H and always had some sort of critters from goats to a steer.
I have no way of getting in contact with them to see if they need anything.
If you look closely at the front of the burned up vehicle there is the cat.
That bothers me.
I really do hope no one was hurt or worse.

Grandad (Dad’s dad) and his brother burned down their family’s barn when they were kids. Playing with matches. Matches and straw, who would have thunk it? My mom’s mom fell asleep while french fries were cooking in a cast iron skillet on the stove top. She worked unreal hours and supported a family without a husband, people reach endurance limits. Somehow, she woke up and put out that fire without destroying the house.

Lot’s of people distilling in apartments and other high density situations now. Distillation of spirits is huge in Australia. The taxes on commercial brand name stuff there basically quadruples the price of ordinary things like Vodka, no wonder people go underground. But, nothing like an invisible flame from high proof ethanol to get a head start without anyone knowing it. At least grease, gasoline and oil fires have the decency of being visible. I would never distill anything flammable inside a structure that wasn’t designed with every appropriate safeguard and such. I did make rocket fuel once, outside, from stump destroyer and sugar. That stuff will burn intensely.
