Has anyone used this new fertilizer yet?

At least it's new to me, saw for the first time @ Lowe's today when I went perusing granular fert. Wonder if this will be a good one to try in my Earthboxes this year, besides in-ground and/or in other pots?

No. It's new to me. It looks to be low in Potassium so you would need to add more of that.

I haven’t seen that one either. I can’t find it on their website to find out what’s in it.
On OMRI they have Gro-well organic 7-5-7. Wish I could get that one.

Miss S posted while I was writing. Thinking the same thing. The potassium is awfully low 8-5-1. On the Lowe’s site the product description is glowing. If I bought this for earthbox I would have to beef up the potassium. I have (organic) potash that is something like 0-0-22) but I am not sure how to calculate what to add to get the K , say to 8 or 10. Elaine

Actually Lowe's does have that 7-5-7, it's called All Purpose instead of for tomatoes & vegetables. I didn't take a pic cuz I only honed in on the tomato part.
Guess I'll try that one as the potassium is too low.

Way over priced for a four pound bag.
I would go with a giant bag of 13-13-13.

Worth, unfortunately if you are going for an organic fertilizer they are always more expensive than the cheaper conventional fertilizer like a 13-13-13. Personal preference as to what to use. The cheapest organic would be something like Black Hen (NOT BLACK COW) probably not suited for Earthbox but I like it inground and big pots.
Peebee, did you notice the ingredients. just curious. i just checked-You can get 18 pounds of tomato tone for 17.25
(Their 4 pound bag is $12, even more than the Gro well.). But TT has much lower NPK . You could try the 7-5-7 and compare to something else. I will check out the 7-5-7 if I see it but too late season-wise for me to give it a go.

Sometimes tomato formulations add calcium which is a good thing but K is super important as well.

I haven't seen that brand at HD but they don't have much gardening stuff out up here yet. I've never grown in an EB and just branched out to container growing tomatoes last season. I used Texas Tomato fertilizer weekly and they grew well. I still have 1.5 gallons of TTF left and a little over a gallon of their veggie formula so I should be good for another season.

For conventional granular I can get a 50 lb. bag of 13-13-13 for $13.50 and urea for $14 at MFA (Missouri Farm Assoc. coop). I use the triple 13 on the 'lawn' and asparagus beds and the Urea on alliums and hostas. Everything else gets the TTF or veggie formala.

Lonejack, thank you for the TTF testimonial. I just started using as a supplement in some Earthbox experiments.

It may not be organic but it does have some ingredients that organic growers
Use frequently.

From Urban Farms :

I am a big fan of TTF, use it down the tube as liquid supplement. Ever since OSH closed their doors here it's been harder to find Tomato Tone in big bags. My local Wal-Mart's gardening section sucks, they get rid of everything after summer to make way for fall/winter stuff without even having any clearance sales. Went today & they are doing stuff, hopefully prepping for actual gardening things soon. So I'll check back.

I use both organic & non in my garden. Just thought I'd try the new fert once, unless people here will say it's no good. That's my mantra in life, try everything once you might like it. I spent 8 years in my youth in Japan & never once ate sushi w/ raw fish. I was brainwashed by relatives in MI earlier in my childhood who would tell me fish stinks, tastes bad, ugh yuck the Japanese just grab a whole raw fish & bite into it etc. Well, right before I left Japan for college I thought what the heck I may never see sushi again so I'll try it. Holy moly what is this?! I wasted years not eating this most heavenly of foods at the very source.
Of course I won't try anything obviously dangerous or dumb. But I have done my share
